Hello there. Long time no post. Karo is still in remission from diabetes, and doing all around amazing, besides one problem from switching to wet food.

His teeth! Now that he isn't eating dry kibble, he's developed worse tartar build up.
I'm curious if anyone has treat suggestions on low carb/no carb to help with this.
I have recently started slowly introducing brushing his teeth with cat toothpaste and brush.

Also, I will soon be taking him in to have his teeth cleaned, and am worried about his age/condition with being put under anesthesia. Karo is about 14. Freaks me out. :(

P.S. I was wondering if anyone has tried Pretty Litter? The litter that apparently changes color based on health conditions.

Sorry if anyone else had made a similar post about these things, though I couldn't seen to find one.

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to these questions but I'm hoping someone here does because I'm interested in both!

I tested Pretty Litter for my vet. It will alert you to possible problem but not what that is. If it changes color you would need to see a vet for tests .

It does not clump. Very expensive for daily use. Not ideal for multiple cats.

Does not detect glucose or ketones.
