Thank you all.My cat is now in diabetes remission. She is extremely picky with wet food even Fancy feast.I have tried 15 different cans with no luck. She is not taking in enough and is constantly hungry.I am to a place soon to move to dry.I have used Dr.Elseys turkey in past and is great.Kidney numbers are stable.Thought?

When you say she is constantly hungry, is there a concern about her weight? If she is constantly hungry but she isn't eating, that's confusing. How is she behaving with her food?

Are you trying low carb toppers? FortiFlora is one we use. Also, Stella and Chewy's Magical Dinner Dust is one mine like. Dry food, in general, is not good for kitties (and I know that you are trying to balance getting calories into the kitty with the downside of dry food). Even Dr. Elsey's dry, though it's LC, because it's kibble, has the effect of staying longer in the system and boosting bg numbers.

Yes she is very hungary. She will eat some moist food but walks away.I believe she wants treats. She is a grader and always has been.Yes with all the food she does consume she is not gaining. She is 9 lbs and lost 2 lbs over the last few months prior to being diagnosed with diabetes. She was on renal prescription food prior to her diagnosis. She just seems never satisfied. She acts Hungary and wanting to eat but seems nothing is tasting great.I thought a way of increasing fullness was to add a bit of kibble with her wet food.
