Low but not low enough. What to do?

Hi everyone,
I have just updated our spreadsheet. Our numbers seem low enough for me to worry about giving a shot but not low enough for remission. What do you think of the numbers? Does anyone have any advice? We are already on .1 (ok, so it might fluctuate a bit as .1 is REALLY hard to see on the syringe).

I wish I had words of wisdom for you...

If those numbers were from a human meter and not an AT meter, I'd probably say that you might be able to think about shooting the .1u on a 105 preshot. But I personally don't feel comfortable with telling you to try that. I just don't have any experience with this situation.

Question for all - is this something that might be able to be tweaked with food or with meal timing?

Thanks Carl,
I am not comfortable giving a shot tonight. This does seem to be a pattern now though and I would like to address it. She is on no-carb food, doesn't eat much, free feeds. She seems hyper sensitive to the insulin so I really hate to increase the dose. Hmmmm..

By the way, the numbers? They look fantastic! And while I know you're sort of stuck in a tough place, there's probably a couple dozen people here that would change places with you in a second. ;-) You wouldn't think that a measly .1u dose would make a huge difference, but is sure does seem to.

I know I've read, and I've seen pictures that show that it is possible to give even less than .1u.

They're in this sticky towards the bottom:

Here are a couple of thoughts...

You could shoot a "fat" zero or "some" insulin:

Alternatively, raising the carb content of Lucy's food may give you a little more room. I feed 4% food. If you increased to 2 - 3% rather than no-carb, you may have more flexibility with dose.

Ok, I will give the 'fat zero' next time. I keep forgetting about that tiny itty bitty shot....

I am happy with the numbers. I should stop hoping for remission and be happy that she is healthy.

Good luck with the fat dose! Dont underestimate your furry baby, she can give you a surprise on OTJ anytime!
