It's been two days without giving Nippet insulin. Numbers are staying low. Only thing that has changed is she is taking a multivitamin with Iron for the pass two days. Doesn't really makes sense for her levels to go normal over a vitamin is it?

Not likely. What are her numbers over the last two days?

any testing between those have stayed around the same numbers unless I take it right after eating, they will go about 25 to 50 points then drop. Also noticed if i take it in her left ear I get lower numbers..... Weird......

Looks like a kitty in/near remission to me. :) I suggest you keep testing maybe twice a day AM/PM for a while.

It may not be that weird. My kitty went to remission after three weeks on insulin and discontinuing all dry food. It can happen, but I don't know how common it is. I hope this is the case for your kitty.

ME TOO!!! I've been stressed out for a few weeks now. It would be nice to be able to control her sugar with food only.

I still get stressed because I'm always aware it could return at any time. My remission kitty had an ER visit Tues night and his BG shot up pretty high. Hoping it's stress induced and will re check at home when he calms down. It's a stressful disease to deal with over all. Good luck with your kitty.

44 ? ? What the heck!!#$# ive had to give her a little dry food tonight. She just seems to be to dang low tonight.

Then don't worry about it!! Just feed her regular low carb food and rejoice!!!

As long as you aren't shooting, you're not adding extra insulin.....it's her own pancreas doing the work!!!

Non-diabetic cats can be in the 30's and be totally normal
