Hello all, I have never started a loose lips thread before, so please let me know if I make any boo boos!
I recently returned from a conference in Glasgow Scotland, and Liz did a fabulous turn as BIC with our guy Zener. Several people have asked to see pictures, so here goes.

This was a total fluke. I stayed at a guest house with a colleague and this hair salon was just around the corner. Who knew there was another Anne Hart? We stopped to take a picture and the Scottish Anne Hart came out to see why. I told her "I'm Anne Hart", she laughed and said "I'm Anne Hart" and agreed to pose for a photo.

We got free tickets from the conference for the opening women's soccer match of the Olympics at Hampden Park in Glasgow. I'll post a couple of those photos next.

Here are a couple of pictures from the soccer.

Our seats were incredible, 10th row up from the pitch and in one of the corners. It was a fantastic game with lots of scoring. Final score US 4 - France 2.

I go back across the pond 26 August - 10 September for the 2012 London Paralympic Games, where I'll be working with wheelchair rugby. If you are watching any of the basketball in the Olympics, that is the venue I'll be in.

It was the ICSEMIS conference - a sports science, sports medicine and education conference held every four years prior to the start of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and held in the country hosting the games. We had a day off so visited Loch Lomond and saw the football match. One of my colleagues is from Cape Town! It's a small world!

Great pics and thanks for sharing. Neat with the tickets for the opening women's soccer match of the Olympics Sounds like you had a wonderful time.

Wow, lucky you!!!!!!! I'm so jealous! I'd love to visit Scotland one day but my fear of open water and planes make that a fantasy. Great pictures. Your finding your Scottish twin made my day. That's so cool!

Thanks to all for visiting my pictures! Scotland was quite familiar, perhaps since I have ancestors from the area. It was mostly a business trip, with a rare two days to see some other sights. I don't like flying either, but I can tolerate it. I usually try to sit on a middle aisle seat (the big planes often after a group of seats in the middle), where I can't see out a window, and pretend I'm on a boat.
