Shadow continues to give me lower than her "normal" numbers. last test was a 69, before that a 73.

I am just not used to seeing it.... I always expect somewhere between 90 and 110.
Wonder if the adequan is making the difference....
All I can do it stay on top of it so of course, I will.
She has all 5 p's.... and even has come to bed ever so often, sometime after 3 am in the morning.


My dd is officially engaged now. She is really loving to use the word , fiancé. :lol:
The wedding is 1 1/2 years away ( which makes all of us happy that it's not being rushed)
I've got lots of time to plan even though it's all tentatively thought out already. I actually went and bought the bridesmaids dresses already because we found
them on ebay. they were exactly what my dd wanted and her bridesmaids are all young and poor. They are gorgeous.
And they are likely to be gone if we wait until closer to time.

My MIL got here late last night after plane troubles. We were getting worried since we didn't know what time she was supposed to get here. She forgot to tell us.
So I'll be here some.... but we have to keep her entertained.
She likes doing the tourist thing.


And you know, I still have a weird little lump from that dang spider bite. :roll:
Guess I'm getting slower to heal at my almost 50 years. But the nose is starting to feel normal.

Shadow is doing great! If the adequan is relieving joint pain it certainly could be lowering numbers. BTW OTJ kitties deserve regular condos periodically, it doesn't have to be Loose Lips!

Hi Rhiannon. Thanks for the update on Shadow. The 69 is a good OTJ number but if it's lower than what you're use to seeing I can understand your concern.

Congratulations on your DD's engagement. Nice that they set the wedding date 1-1/2 years out. It gives everyone time to plan and basically get use to the idea. It's a big change and takes some adjustment on mom and dads part. It sounds like you got a great deal on the bridesmaid dresses. I'm sure they will appreciate you helping them.

Have a good time showing your DMIL around the area. Been there/done that. I've been to the Johnson Space Center so many times with visiting relatives that the employees in the coffee shop don't even ask me how I like my coffee, they know :lol: It is nice to see family though and help them enjoy their stay. Seems like there's been a lot of plane troubles lately. I was on a Continental plane once and as it was backing away from the gate one of the tugs they pull the baggage around with hit us and took the tip of the wing off. Still can't say if I was lucky or unlucky to have had a window seat for that one. No one injured, just a tug driver that ended in the unemployment line.

Hello Rhiannon, nice to hear how Shadow is feeling,Congrads on the wedding, my daughter to told everyone on FB I was the last to know :sad: no dresses from this mom she doesn't have enough friends for a big wedding and this will be number 2. She can go to Little White Chapel in Vegas I did :lol: Shadow just wants to keep you on you toes :lol:

Shadow's looking good. Fur Ball regularly gives us numbers in the 50's. OTJ is good for them even if it worries you a bit. Hang in there. She's fine. :-D

Congrats on the engagement. And, yes, lovely that you get time to plan, prepare and get ready. It sure is hard watching the kids get older and move on w/ their lives.

I'm glad Shadow is doing so well. It sounds like the Adequan is helping her. I hope the lump goes away completely. Congrats to your DD on her engagement. I hope you have a good visit with your MIL.

I actually bought the dresses with guesstimates of where the bridesmaids will be in another year. Both of their parents sew so they can take them in any where they need
a bit of adjustment. So as long as no one balloons up.... :o ;-)

It sure is hard watching the kids get older and move on w/ their lives.

So nice to see a condo for Shadow. She is doing so well. We like low numbers! Rusty says she should come and surf in the lagoon.

Congrats to your DD on her engagement. I'm sure the bridesmaids will love the dresses. After all, they will be bridesmaids!

Tell her you just had to shave a few numbers off the bottom line so you would be all pretty in your new bathing suit at the falls! Congrats to your DD on her engagement. I clicked on the link to see the dresses but they are gone and all I saw when I paged down were banana hammocks (thongs) for men! :oops: :lol: :oops: :lol:

I did the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas too! I highly recommend running off and eloping - so much easier! And cheaper too! Let's you save the money up front for the back end when you need to pay for a divorce attorney! J/K... :lol: :shock: :lol: :shock:

And I have to ask....what exactly is Loose Lips anyway? I've seen it for years and never thought to ask what it means. And if it just means Off Topic let me add this - I just finished the first (ahem, only) season of House of Cards on Netflix. It's a political drama that takes place here in DC with Kevin Spacey as the lead character. It's FANTASTIC even though at least 10% of all the political speak goes right over my head (thankfully you can hit rewind and watch it again if need be). I feel utterly lost now that I have finished all the episodes. They better be working out season #2 before too long...
 
Congratulations to your DD!!!! What wonderful news!!!! I'm glad to hear that it's not going to be rushed. The planning can be done without major issues, hopefully. Looking forward to seeing pictures. :-D

season 2 won't be here until 2014
I looked it up for them because they are ready for more.



We went to Taos today, and drove around the back road to red river and back to taos and then home .... just in time for a nice big rain/thunderstorm....
