No birthday plans at all for me. I have never liked celebrating my birthday and being in the center of attention :oops: I would not be surprised at all if my own parents forget again like they usually do :-|

Might do a bit of shopping later. I really need to upgrade my cell phone so I'm going to look into that. I'm still using a no-frills 2G :shock: I don't think civies need anything. I bought them new bowls last week, bath wipes to clean Leroy's stinky butt (he has constant anal gland goo ohmygod_smile ), and scored free Stella and Chewy's samples from a company rep at the pet store :-D

Civies are doing well which means I'm @-) @-) ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile all the time :razz: Someone dropped a tissue-paper crinkle ball in the water bowl yesterday. The water turned an unappetizing color of brown-red :shock: Then Leroy threw up his entire dinner... not long after he ate it ohmygod_smile At least it was contained in the bathroom. Then later Emma tried to eat a used dryer sheet that fell onto the floor ohmygod_smile Then later I squeezed the goo out of Leroy's anal glands and some got on his tail which he promptly whacked into my eye ohmygod_smile Yuck!

Here's something fun: I discovered John Williams' 80th birthday celebration concert online the other day :smile: http://www.wgbh.org/programs/The-Bo...John-Williams-80th-Birthday-Celebration-40057 He's a laureat conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and has composed many well known songs in his career as a conductor: all the songs in the Star Wars and Harry Potter movies, the scary theme song to Jaws, the Olympic theme song, and many more :-D It was cool to listen to many of his well known songs over again and to hear birthday wishes from many famous people :smile:

I did get a new phone - HTC One X :-D Still trying to get used to the touch screen and all the features. I had my techie brother adjust some settings for me because I could not figure it out ohmygod_smile It's going to take a couple days to fully figure out the phone. It's a really cool phone :-D I looked at some Samsung phones but didn't like how most of them were bigger than my hand :shock:

Leroy face planted himself on the wall again :lol: He was chasing a fishing pole toy when I jerked it upwards. Leroy stopped running and slid on his butt across the bare hardwood floor and right into the wall :lol: :lol: Emma just looked at Leroy like he was the clumsiest cat ever :lol:
 
Lol Rhiannon :lol: I can just see Emma staring at movies and stuff that I play on my new phone and trying to "touch" things. Leroy's not interested in any sort of screen with moving objects. I did buy a screen protector thing to keep scratches away. Just need to get a case to prevent damage from being dropped and knocked around, especially at work.

you should google apps for cats.
There are lots of them out there.
I'm old school on phones because I'm cheap about it and we pay $131 /month for 3 phones unlimited texting. ( no more, thank you)
 
Happy Birthday, Squeem! Your kitties certainly participated in your big day! :lol: Enjoy that phone. It probably does everything but make coffee (and maybe it even does that)!

Tomorrow may seem tame by comparison with today :lol:

Lol Ella :lol: If you live with a crazy Aby, there is never a tame day @-) Lisa (and Dou Lou) knows all about the joys of being an Aby owner. The only times I have ever gotten a brief break from Leroy was when he still zonked out from anethesia after being neutered and after his endoscopy.

Yeah, anal gland goo in eye is NOT a fun thing ohmygod_smile I should wear my saftey glasses next time.

I didn't mind my old phone. It was beat up from being constantly dropped at work and still worked. I kind of felt out of place with an old phone while everyone else had a personal smartphone :? No one really uses their work issued cell phones unless you're a manager and have an iPhone to flash around :roll: I kept getting updrade notifications which I ignored until now. I figured I'd treat myself to a nice gift :-D I think I'm paying only $30 more now because of the data plan. And my company discount still applies so that saves money :smile:

MJ, I hope your cats are doing well :smile: I have to pick up more Revolution next week and drop off donations so I'll be dropping by Squishy's memorial :-D
