Loose Lips: Full "Cold" Moon Party tonight

Yo Kitties, it's Rusty here, reminding you that tonight is the full moon and we are partying! fll_moon

This month's full moon is the Full "Cold" Moon and it sure is cold here: -26 degrees F. this morning, but tonight it won't be quite that cold. The party will be in my barn, where there will be good heat from the wood stove and lots of warming fuds and drink. So come one, come all. We will celebrate WINTER with singing, dancing, playing in the snow, and--best of all--our Circle of Remembrance for our GAs.
Tess will pick you up in the Kitty Bus and she'll have lots of caps, scarves, fleece blankets, slippers, etc. for the trip. Paw Prints pizzas will be baked and served right on the bus.
Here's the menu, which the Kitchen Krew planned yesterday. To show respect to the deer family, who will be at the party, there is no venison on the menu! See you all tonight.

Full Cold Moon Party Menu

Appetizers and beverages: Hot Tuna Toddies; Adirondack Moonbrews; Spicy hot EggNog; Glühwein; Gløgg; Crab dip on Nip Crackers; Chicken croquettes; Paprika-rich Liptauerkäse; Cajun Shrimp Cocktail; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; a Sushi Bar manned by LL Sushi Chefs Neko and Tess and featuring Cold-water Fish.
Entrees: Chef Rusty's Thunderin' Bison Chili; Moon Medallions of Elk simmered in Red Wine; Roasted Squirrel Kabobs; Grilled Wild Turkey Sausages; Chef Mannie's Renowned PNW Poached Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo (and Wasabe on the side); BigMac's Burger Extravaganza.
Salads: Butthead's & Donny's Confetti Slaw with Moonbeams.
Desserts: MoonPies; Maggie's Signature Moon Cheesecakes; Tobey's Hot Cimmamum Cookies; LL Chief Pastry Chef Tess's Surprise Moon dessert; Chef Stu's World Famous Catmint Parfaits (served on platters of fresh snow).

Hi Ella, I so fondly remember how much Maggie loved those Full Moon parties and making her Signature Moon Cheesecakes. She always had to make an extra one for Chef Mannie driving the bus. What a blast they always had at these parties, and aww... on the deer, as I remember the anticipation the kitties had of seeing their deer friends.

Rusty and the kitchen krewe are so very thoughtful to remove venison from the menu.

Hey Rusty,

It's way too cold to go out. I need to be wrapped in warm fleeces and bring my yummy heating pad too, cause I hate having frozen toesies!

Since you are so close, we won't need to fly the jet tonight - I certainly don't want it landing in the lake by mistake - way too cold if we land on the lake!

Tess hurry up and pick me up. I'm waiting and ready to party!

They told me I haf some very big shoes to fill for taking care of mei bean, so I am bringing all six of my extra toes. I am hopping on my motocycle right now and will be there soon!
