I wanted to apologize for not having been around to support anyone the past couple weeks. Everyone here has always been so kind and good to me. I've been actively looking for work and I never realized how stressful it is to be on unemployment! GEEZ! But I think I am getting a job to start after Thanksgiving w/e. It will be different - full time/nites/- but it's still in peds ICU and just for 13 weeks so I can do anything for 13 weeks even at my age! :lol:

Fiona continues to do well - she couldn't get her 2nd chemo tx last Friday as her counts were abit low but she goes tomorrow. Her wardrobe grew by one - a cute little Tshirt that says "Bad Hair Day". She had to have it! Right??? ;-)

I hope this finds all of you doing well. Now that I'm not on the computer constantly looking for work - I will be hoping to offer some warm thoughts here.

Hi Patti, congrats on the job! Great news. Looking for a job is harder than having one, that's for sure. Thanks for the update on Fiona. I hope the chemo helps her.

awesome patti! i'm sure you're fabulous working with children - you're such a warm person! glad you got something to start with. sometimes it takes getting your foot in the door to have something come up

on my way out the door to pick up the DH from work and go out to eat. it's cold, rainy, dark and i don't want to cook. so YAY for restaurants!
