Hi everyone!

Lolly just hit her 1 month OTJ mark, and she is doing great. Her 5 Ps are fantastic, she still seems to be improving, and I think with the low carb, she's doing even better than she was BFD. (Before FD) She's more active, and jumps for the birdie! (She hadn't done that for over two years ). Her BG's may be a little bit high for in a cat in remission per Tilly's Diabetes page:

"Most remission cats are able to stay in the normal range all of the time (50 to 80 mg/dl), although there are a few cases of sporadic higher and lower BGs."

The civvies continue ever more boisterous. I am beginning to wonder when the low carb effect will level out, as my house is not big enough for seven kittens the size of cats:).

Lolly misses all the good care and hugs from the FDMB. Love and purrs to @bettyandhank, @Marje and Gracie, @BJM, @Critter Mom, @Wendy&Neko , @KPassa, @Elizabeth and Bertie @Deb & Wink, @Vyktors Mum @julie & punkin (ga) @Chris & China and anyone who I may have missed who guided us down the ladder.

That is wonderful that Lolly is one month OTJ and best wishes for continued success to her and you too.

Hi Martha - thanks for giving us a Lolly update. Too funny on the house full of cat sized kittens. :joyful:

Hi Martha,
Am so glad to hear Lolly is doing well. And those numbers are excellent, not too high at all.
The Tilly's 'normal range' seems quite low. We usually consider the normal range to be approximately 40 - 120 on a human meter (with some cats running a bit lower or higher than that).

Sending Lolly oodles of hugs and chin scritches from the UK.
(And a hug for you too, of course!) :D

Great news! I also love the comment about cat sized kittens and agree with Eliz that the Tilly's range is a little low. Vyktor scores a low blue on the odd ocassion and that's nothing to worry about. We consider the normal range to be up to 120 around here. Go Lolly :D

Congratulations on your 1 month annifursary!!!! I'm so glad to hear that she's improving; this is extremely positive news! Keep up the excellent work, and thank you for the update. :D :bighug:

Congratulations that it's been a lovely month of remission for Lolly and she is still enjoying her condo at the Falls. This makes us all happy!! :cat::cat::kiss::kiss::kiss:

We are always thrilled to see an update from our family members at the Falls.

Hope you are well, too, Martha! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Delighted to hear the great news about Lolly becoming diet-controlled. And the even better news that she's feeling so much better: that's the real celebration. Woot! :D

I wouldn't worry about the range in the "Tilly" document. What's important is what's typical for your cat. The old maxim still applies: "Every cat is different."
