Got a +2 after PMPS it was276 and his AMPS was 293 Have a vet conference this morning will update when I return. Also, added some Miralax yesterday and it seems to have helped him, had no clue he was having issues but after reading here I noticed he had a few issues with small and hard stools. He went normal and seems more active and happy. This is why I love this site, any questions are readily answered with great and safe advice. I would never have know what to give him for constipation because the laxatone I have for the other cats is filled with sweet stuff.

You might find it helpful to go to Feline Constipation for additional information on the problem.

Don't know if you do this - one thing some folks do is add a tablespoon or so of water to the meal to make sure enough water is going in. This is important when using an osmotic like Miralax, too, as it draws water into the bowel.

Aha! Constipation can certainly raise bg levels. Hope that proves to be part of the picture. Much nicer amps this morning. Good luck at the vet.
