Hello all,
Fred's vet suggested we do a 7-day course of antibiotics to make sure we were ruling out any occult infection that might be contributing to his high numbers.
As per his spreadsheet, I was really hopeful the last few days that maybe we were getting somewhere. Then I started the Veraflox yesterday, and I am flummoxed by his high +2.5 today. I know sometimes sweeteners are added to liquid meds, but I cannot find any info on Veraflox specifically. I DO know it is formulated to be "highly palatable" to cats. It must be; it's the only one my cats have ever taken in their food. So, I was wondering if anyone else had this experience.
Perhaps I am just grasping at straws. After nearly two weeks of highly anxious waiting, I should have Fred's Acro/IAA results tomorrow. That will likely give me some answers, though one I desperately don't want to hear.
