Hi all! Its been awhile!
I have a question thats non diabetic related
Recently, Ive been trapping the ferals in my neighborhood and doing TNRs with them. Today I caught a large male, whom I've deemed Mr Smokey. He is pretty sweet (not feral) and is going to make a lovely pet some day. HOWEVERRR, he has a gnarly bite wound that needs to heal first.
He got treated today and is on his way to healing (thank god.... because he literally smelt like rot). The clinic gave me liquid Clindamycin to help treat. I mixed his dose (which is rather large) with some Churu and added some Friskies Lil Gravies for good measure... I don't think will work
Does anyone have any good tips for administoring this? If not, I'll see if pills would be an option. He is a good boy, but with the neck wound with stitches, I dont want to be too forceful.
I'd attach a photo if his sweetface.... but the Upload function doesn't work for me
