Linus still hates me after Saturday vet visit

How long do your scaredy cats stay mad at you? Last time I took Linus to the vet it took him a day to be normal again. It's been since Saturday and he still doesn't trust me. It's breaking my heart... he's my cuddly, sweet boy and he looks at me like he's scared of me. He was fighting me really badly when it came to getting him into the carrying case. Have I traumatized him that badly??

My heart hurts. I can't even put his ointment on because he won't stay near me. I can't pick him up..sigh. :cry:

They do sometimes have an attitude don't they.

Does he have a favorite treat that you could tempt him with? My guys would do almost anything for fish flakes or boiled chicken.

He will get over it eventually, I'm sure, but a little treat or two may help the process along.

Best of luck and give little Linus an extra big smooch when you can get close to him.
