This morning at +9, Linus was at 98! 2nd test was 106, so I know it's close. He didn't eat a whole lot overnight, so that may have something to do with it. Pre-shot numbers have still been in the lower 300's, but nadirs are much lower than they were before the dental.
Pierre is going to call with AMPS number before he gives insulin. I'm thinking go with 1.2u as usual if he's over 250 and just be sure he has food and is eating through the day. What to do if he's under 250? He's nowhere near consistent enough to begin to figure out a sliding scale. The 1.2u is obviously working, although it does wear completely off at or before 12 hours. I believe his baseline number without insulin is now 350-375 with low carb food, and he returns almost to that number at 12 hours, and then stays there, even if we have to skip a shot due to wonky schedules.
I'll update with the 8:00am number as soon as I get it.
***8:00am update, 296. A little lower than usual, not so low I need to worry about it.***
