The review was in my most recent copy of Consumer Reports, so I imagine it was for October 2011.

It's interesting in that their previous report (I don't have the date), indicated that the "True" meters (Walgreen's and CVS brands) were unreliable. The Contour was highly rated. The only consideration I think that's worth mentioning with CR is that they factor in cost in their ratings
