We re still trucking along. Several pancreatitis flares so now on 6 day a week buprenex, which is his happy drug (plus the other drugs).

Vet said he can eat all the HP kibble he wants, given the pancreatitis, and she will adjust the insulin accordingly. So we are now up to 1/2 unit 2x day. We ll see how this works. She is definitely in the SLGS camp.

Have kept my own spreadsheet amps, now pmps, +2, +4, +6, then the same for the night ( don't always get all the values for each day but get many) would love to use THIS format but im doing everything on my phone, which is challenge for me.

Anyway, just saying we follow along, are trying, and like ving all the resources here!!

One thing I learned that I did NOT know is that the longer a blob of blood sits in the ear (waiting for me to test) the lower the BG. So, when I tested once and got 400 or something, then retested the same blob and got 360, that's why. Live and learn!!!

Exactly., I read about the variance. That's a lot of change. Bit I didn't know about the BG going down the longer it sits. The tech I saw agreed that in checking blood, poke and test, don't let it sit. I did NOT know that (,I didn't let it sit but I did test one blob twice)

Still wondering about testing in an ear that gets pred. I clean it, but still... I wonder
