I heard from Cyn a little while ago. She will be bringing Cosmo to Dr. B at 4:00 EDT today one last time. She didn't want to make a decision to let him fly free when it was an emergency and when the people that love him might not be there to ease his way.

Cyn also wanted to be sure that Cosmo would not be scared or get lost finding his way to the Bridge. I assured her that my GA kitties, George and Gracie would be there waiting for Cosmo. If we could light a candle at the time that Cosmo flies free, perhaps we can help Cyn with our own last act of kindness to insure that Cosmo finds his way.

ETA: I came back to light the candle for this condo. Travel safely Cosmo and know you are loved. All of the candles in Lantus Land are lit to guide you. To light a candle for Cosmo
 
(((Cyn, Cosmo))) There are not enough candles for you and Cosmo. This makes me so sad, but at the same time happy in that you can be there to guide him, comfort him, and let him now that the bridge is as good as they all say it is. I wish you the best. Cosmo will be at peace, free of pain, free of inabilities, able to be as free as Cosmo wants to be. This is the best act of kindness any of us can do for our kitties, I hope you can find comfort there. The path will be lit with many candles from Mannie and me.

My GA's Pie and Chessie and Bobbi are already there waiting for Cosmo. He won't be scared. I kept the candle I lit for Noisy's crossing, so that will be burning this evening.

I am so sorry. I will help Cosmo today with a candle as well. He will have no trouble finding his way. My Chance and Sparky (GAs) will be there waiting for him too.
 
So very sorry - my thoughts are with you...

My Big White Cat is there at the bridge to help Cosmo get settled in... with all our other GA kitties...

My heart aches for Cyn, this is such a hard decision... Many, many prayers and candles to light his way...
 
((Cyn & Danger)) So, sorry it is time to let Cosmo go. You did a great job caring for him. I know your pain very well... :sad: Cosmo will make friends at the bridge with all my GA's - Rat, Stubby, Cecil, Jessie and Skippy.

so sorry to hear the time has come ... but at least it will be a calm passing ... and cosmo is going to find his way with no problem ... he's going to be greeted by so many furbabies that have gone ahead, including my GA's bandit and blacky, and they are going to show him how to run, and play and he won't even remember what pain feels like ...

Cosmo will have the comfort of great white light to accompany him to his kitty family across the bridge. He will not be alone, and he will not be afraid.
 
Oh no, not another one today. Cyn I am so sorry that it is time for Cosmo. He has been such a warrior. He will be greeted by all our GA's and fly free. Merlot (GA) will be there to help him over. It is a hard decision I know but such a gift that we can give our furbabies. (((HUGS)))

I am so sorry to hear this. But, Cosmo won't have any trouble find his way to the bridge with all of out guardian angels leading the way. Sending peace and comfort to Cyn too.

Oh no, not Cosmo... I haven't been here in a while and to come back today and find all of this going on... oh dear Lord.

I can't even see thru the tears to type. (((Cyn))) i don't even have words. You and Cos are so dear to me, have such a special place in my heart... i'm so sorry, i'm just so sorry Cyn. Cosmo was such a warrior, such a brave and valiant cat and you gave him the BEST of everything Cyn, right to the end.

I know your heart is broken in a million pieces right now and I wish there was something I could do to offer you some comfort. Please know that I grieve with you and that I send you so much love.

Cosmo.. gentle passing dear one. You will be missed by so many here in this world.... you were truly one of the special ones.

So sorry you have to make this decision. It is most heartbreaking to let them go even when it is best for them.

Sending many many cyber hugs.. tears are falling. Cosmo is flying free now, whole and healthy over the Rainbow Bridge. I know Merlyn will help him. I am so very sorry. rb_icon
