Levemir pens to give away

Hello everyone!

Right now I have 4 extra Levemir pens that I bought very recently, but the expiration date of the pens is August 2014. Since my cat is having very small doses of insulin, I'm definitely not going to use more than the one I'm using until August. I wouldn't mind giving the pens to someone who needs them, but I'm living in Denmark, Europe. Is there anyone in this forum who would like to get them? Levemir pens for free ;-). I also thought of taking them to the vet clinic, but I'd prefer to given them to someone who actually needs them.

Maybe asked DCIN if they could use them since they always are looking for insulin to help with the fosters.
Very nice of you to give them away.

It would be great to help them, but I don't know how easy is to ship the pens to the US. In any case, I'm going to send them a message.

Try posting in the Supply closet forum or over on Health. I seem to remember seeing another Nordic Levemir user. The other option is to contact a local animal welfare organization, maybe one that specializes in older animals. That's how I got rid of some Caninsulin when we switched.
 
Hi Wendy! I have posted already there ;-). I have found someone at the fb page of the Diabetic Cats in Need who may want to keep them.
 
We have another FDMB member who lists her location as Helsingør/Elsinore Denmark = Charlotte & Prop.
Charlotte uses Levemir for her kitty, Prop. If she can't use it, she might know of someone local who can.
