Hi everyone!
First Milo, the kitty I was sitting. He's got bloodwork en route to MSU right now for IAA and Acro tests, I hope she will get results Friday. Now that we know you can call and get the result yourself, I will give her that tip. Thanks Holly! He's at 9u as of last night and doing very well other than he needs more insulin. Jen's doing a great job with him and I met her at the vet's office yesterday .. he looks great! He is still very afflicted with neuropathy but he's gaining control of his legs and he's picked up quite a bit of speed LOL He only bit me once, but in his defense, I was holding chicken, and his vision isn't very good.
Leo is doing pretty darn well. Decided he hated pill pockets this week so we were forced to switch to Friskies Hairball treats to hide his meds in. He also decided that he hates Poultry Platter and Supreme Supper this week which reduced us 2 more flavors on the Foods Leo Likes list. Friskies needs to quit messing with their formulas! He's getting a haircut this week, his belly hair is 4" long and he's getting hairballs bleh.. Every time he coughs, I panic and think it's his heart.
(for anyone that doesn't know, Leo is an acrocat, so don't panic at the rest of this paragraph) His numbers are in flux right now but coming down after a series of 100s, then skipped shots, BCS doses and decreases and increases. We're holding pretty steady at this dose and he's definitely feeling good so I think he's where he needs to be... 28.5u at the moment.
Leo is always near me, even if I'm on the couch and he wants to chill on the floor.. this is his idea of cuddling with me. He has lots of hair, no?
