Sunday morning after I tested CL and fed her I went to load the syringe while she was eating and discovered that I had left the bottle of insulin out on the table the night before.
I have been using it and it seems to be ok. CL's numbers are about the same as they have been. Its a half of a bottle and I will toss it if I have to but it does seem fine (for now)
Opinions Please on using it??

It ahould be ok as it isn't hot summer weather. If not, sometime soon you'll probably notice floaties and higher numbers. how's she doing?

Does it have any "floaties" in it?

If not, it should be okay to use, but it might be degraded somewhat. Just try to get a few more tests in to see if her numbers change too much.

During the end of July/beginning of August, I was using a bottle of ProZinc that was shipped to me and arrived warm and I had no idea how long it was before the ice paks melted. RumpelT seemed to bounce around a bit more than usual at the time (her numbers were still in the "being goofy" ranges anyway) but it worked in a pinch.

Your bottle might have only gotten to be room temperature...the one I had was "warm".

No, no floaties yet. The room is a rather cool room. It has a lot of windows and the temp has gone down to 20-30's at night. I will keep a good eye on it and her numbers. I'm just glad that it was not a brand new full bottle! ohmygod_smile
CL seems to be doing pretty ok. Her numbers have been more in the pink right now. Seems that about 2.5 units in the am and pm is working good for her. All p's in place.
