This isn't my week!!!

I left the insulin out for 5 hours-- when I realized it, the first thing I did was feel the vial to see if it felt cool----no!

I went and got another vial-- would you think the old one is ok?

I don't need any added..what ifs with Kitty.

Shoot from the new one or old one?

Folks usually say it’s ok if you leave it out, what is more critical is it being in light. If you leave yours in the box like I do I doubt it would be bad.
I guess all you can do is try and see....

KT's is on Humulin N - it says it can be left out up to 85 degrees. I'm looking forward to seeing what the other insulin's say...thanks for asking this question.

Hugs to All!

I think I want to buy stock in the company that makes ProZinc!
just because of Kim!

I think it should be fine but even as I type this .... I know you won't use, so Miss Kitty has a new vial, maybe help the #'s? oh wait! the "old" vial was what? 2 wks. old!!

We love ya Kim! even if I'm not smiling when I begin ..... I'm smiling after I read ..... Can't mess with my day, can you hear that! no you can't EVERYONE is at work!!!! (or school) Peace and quiet, NOT over-rated!

She gulps insulin, so there was only about 1/5 of the bottle left (or 20 percent Nancy  )---so, I was getting ready to buy one anyway. I like new vials, they give her better numbers....zippy insulin!

Does anyone want my remnants?????

I might buy some too----would that be considered insider tranding?

The old vial is more than likely just fine, but if you were down to the last 20%, then it would be time to get a new one anyway!

Don't ask, I quit counting when she hit the teens!  I'm still working on the stock aspect!
but we haven't seen any candles lately, she must only do it for Sue?

Have you ever heard of Martha Stewart??????? I am telling you, this is insider trading....you better stay away from the stock unless you want to spend Christmas in a cozy brick building in West Virginia!!!

Okay Kim, calm down! Nobody is going to W. Virginia!

Boehringer Ingelheim is a family-owned company governed by the Board of Managing Directors. So we are fine, no stock .....

Ah! It's almost like you are worried about us  are you playing Sue?

I am worried because if y'all go to West Va to Martha's "house" , you probably will not be around to give me advice. Who would I drink with, who would I "talk" to every night.......OMG.....and, do you look good in Orange or Stripes??!!

Saint Sue would be so disappointed if she came back.....and.....

That's good cause the way this insulin is going it may not be around for that long!

You know, I like pzi .... I don't think that we toot our horns as much as some but I think it works well, especially for very difficult kitties. Read the L's once in awhile and they have problems too .... I don't think I could have evened Payne out on anything else!

I am liking the flexiblity of Prozinc also. I lurk a lot on the other ISGs and all insulins have their issues. There are users that were on PZI when Kitty and I arrived that have switched to the Ls that I have followed. The grass is not always greener. Not to say that some kitties have not done better on the Ls, but not all.

Who knows, Kitty and I might end up on one of the Ls, but I am not convinced it would give us any better results---if I was, we would have already made the switch.
