Hi Madeline, I don't use Lantus so I can't give you dosing help, although 63 seems to me to be too low to shoot. Try posting on the Lantus forum, you'll probably get more help there.

I would not. Mabye 0.25u. Do you have plenty of test strips and HC food? Are you willing to monitor and intervene if necessary?

No....I think since you're not sure about testing at night that you should skip tonight
Even the most experienced people here won't usually shoot if they're under 50 unless they have LOTS of data and know how their cats respond VERY well
