Late shot. !/2 does tonight?

I overslept for the first time (and kitty didn't wake me up). Her shot was 45 minutes late this morning. Do I give her 1/2 does this evening? Or, do I need to try to catch up with her schedule in 15 minute increments over the next few days?

I tried to search for this to no avail.

Sarah is on 1.0 unit Lantus BID.

I would catch up in 15 minute increments starting tomorrow. Give her the usual dose but 45minutes late tonite. Then tomorrow morning give it 30 mins late and tomorrow night 15 minutes late etc.

I say +/- one hour is fine for scheduling. I would just give what is normal for the BG you measure before the shot.

Hmm, differing thoughts. Unless someone else has some pearls of wisdom, I think I will take the more conservative route and do the 15 minute thing to catch up. My girl is very sensitive to bouncing if she get's too much, and I don't want to shoot when there's still something in the reservior.
