Late on insulin do I adjust next dose time?

I was about 40 minutes late on Kitten’s PM lantus insulin tonight. Do I adjust tomorrow AM to be 40 minutes late too? Or do I go straight back to my usual time? Or do I do about 20 minutes late in AM and then 12 hours later and then back to usual after tomorrow? If that makes any sense.

When adjusting back to the schedule you can go back 15 minutes a cycle or 1/2 hour a day. Because it is just 40 minutes, I think you would be fine to do 20 minutes a cycle providing the Preshot isn’t low. Any longer and you would need to stick to the 15 minutes a cycle.
