Late Nadirs

I don't understand how nadiring late works. Taz usually nadirs between +3 and +4, but from what I can tell, he nadired late both cycles today (beginning of following cycles). And I don't see where there was an obvious bounce to cause it.

Can he nadir twice in a cycle? Like once from the prior cycle's insulin (late) and once from the current cycle's insulin?

At least to my eyes Taz's cycles on 8/13 look pretty flat. They are very pretty blue cycles. However, to answer in more general terms, Lantus can sometimes cause a "double dip." In other words, there's your cat's typical nadir and the numbers dip again around the time of your PS. It's completely counterintuitive. Chances are, that's what was going on at the end of the PM cycle on 8/12 resulting in your 116 at AMPS on 8/13. Taz's numbers then rose by your +1. It's likely that Taz is getting good duration with Lantus. Ideally, the cycles overlap vs the insulin petering out by shot time which gives you the long duration that Lantus is known for.
