Late insulin this morning do I give insulin now?

I would like to start of with a Happy Thanksgiving! Since day 1 I have been so thankful for this board and all the help & support I have received.

Ok here is my question.
Is it okay to go ahead & give him insulin now? He is at 278 now? He just ate a few minutes ago.
It hasn't been 12 hrs since I gave him insulin last.
Baxter had insulin at 9am his #290.
I was late feeding him...his schudule is 8am.

It should be okay. It isn't a big problem to shoot early with PZI - as long as you are sure he is headed up, not down. You don't have the mid cycle numbers to be positive he is headed up, but the likelihood is that he is.

I would say yes , but try to get some other numbers tonight.
 
I planned on testing him again in about 2-3 hrs. Then again around 2-3am.
I gave him a little under 1.0 this morning & was going to do this same right now under 1.0.
