Wondering how delicate Lantus is exactly?

I’m deeply upset. My vet specifically told me to shake the vial before injection, I just found out that was absolutely wrong.

So I got a brand new insulin yesterday. I forgot to tell my father in law the new information, so he came over and gave it a nice shake before the injection. Did he just ruin the new one? Should I go to the pharmacy and just get another?

Ugh. I’m so tired of Dilly’s numbers being like this. I feel so bad for the little guy. Absolute yo yoing. I’ll pretty much do anything to get him regulated at this point. And I have a coupon to get Lantus for only $35, so I’m not worried about the cost. But is it that delicate that one shake will ruin the batch?

The Lantus should be fine.
Do you have a spreadsheet we can look BG at?
What are you feeding your kitty?
What dose are you giving?
