Lantus pricing thru the roof in Canada

Hey Folks, I need to order more lantus for Clyde. So I went onto the Northwest Pharmacy website to reorder & found the Lantus Solostar Pens are now $345, WHATTTT? So I called them to confirm & yes that is the price. Can anyone help me find Lantus cheaper somewhere else? I printed a discount card off the Lantus website just now. Will Pharmacies honor it being its for a kitty?

I have no idea, but I wouldn't tell them it's for a kitty. ;-) I don't tell them anything when I get syringes etc, don't know if it would make a difference, but why risk it? ;-) But's just me.

I don't think it should be an issue. the script probably indicates that it is for a feline (mine did) but that shouldn't matter. That seems like a high amount but I have never bought a pen before. At that price you might be better off with a vial.

That is pricey from what I remember when I was still using Lantus, and I can't even tell you right now what the going price is for that since my mom gave me 33 pens before she past away.
