Lantus prescription

Good morning! Buddha and I haven't been on the FDMB in a very long time. But we are older timers who are down to our last drop of our expired prescription for Lantus. I need to ask the vet to write a new one. Our last prescription was for lantus cartridges, which are no longer available. I guess I need to ask for Lantus Solostar Pens. Are there other options? Solostar used to also come in 5 packs of 3ml pens, and was more economical then the 10ml vials. Is is still the case?

Also Lantus is now offering a savings card. Is anyone using for their cat? I can't tell if Buddha is eligible.

Yep Solostar pens are still a 5pk and a better deal than a vial...Can't tell you about the savings card though because we switched Autumn to Levemir and Maxwell is still OTJ.
