Happy Thursday!!

Just got a 54 BG reading on Rylee. Hope it's accurate. Will check again in 1 hr.

Does anyone know if antiobiotic ointment alters the test? I applied some yesterday as a protection for all her ear poking. But I have always done so.

Hi Stephanie,

Yes, retest, and maybe make sure the ear is "clean" first? I don't think the ointment from yesterday would be messing up the reading. But a 54 sure is a nice number to see!

Nice! if in doubt do a second test. great number for no insulin though. More of those please!

I understand exercise/playing will bring down the BG?? Rylee was playing before I tested her. Now she is resting and about 1.5 hrs later I tested her again and she is 119. These are still sweet numbers for sure!!!
