? Lantus dosage

help . My kitty went off Lantus a couple of months ago. Her numbers started going up again before breakfast. The past week I started on .5 units in a.m. only. Her morning numbers have been between 150 and 200. What are opinions on this method

Sorry you are back giving insulin again. Can you update the spreadsheet with a new tab for 2017? Most of us need the spreadsheet to give any suggestions on the dose.

I would also suggest getting Cutie in to see the vet. Seeing higher numbers can be a signal that there's an infection or inflammation that starting up. Keep in mind, many kitties fall out of remission due to needing a dental.

Yes, dental and/or pancreatic is the number one reasons for a cat going out of remission. A vet appointment is in order so you know what you are dealing with.

Why? best for what reason? AFter a year and a half back on insulin after her first remission, I doubt she is going to have a low morning reading.
