Hi All,
Flame has been doing very well recently and I could use a little advice as to where to go from here.
I, finally, set up his spreadsheet. It starts when he was diagnosed in June 2014 with a few entries, but then I fast forwarded to 9/1/14 because nothing truly exceptional happened between those months and quite frankly since I was just setting it up today that task to enter the entire time was just too daunting..
I have been getting some really good numbers pre shot. I work during the day week days so rarely get the +4 +5 +6 numbers. Sorry.
He is on Lantus and eating Purina DM with Trader Joes cat tuna and boiled chicken with juice morning and night. He was having some constipation issues and when I started boiling the chicken and giving him the broth with some of the chicken it seemed to help him out.
My questions are.... Where do we go from here? Am I doing the right thing with his Lantus? I don't want him on a roller coaster, but I also don't want to shoot too much when he has nice low numbers. Are we close to a possible remission here? I use the ReliOn Confirm meter.
Any advice or comments are welcome. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday.
Thank you,
Julie and Flame
