Wow, very anemic. What was the treatment offered? Are they going to try b injections?

When my cat Zim (not diabetic) has kidney failure and 8/15/16 was down to 20% HCT and borderline anemic I went nuts with the b-12 Vitamins and b-complex vitamins with iron. I was giving him 500 mcg of the b-12 and 1 ml of b complex with iron twice a day. In two months time of doing this his hct number went from 20% to 42% and the anemia was completely resolved.

I don't have any experience with liver failure.

The observation that bothers me is that the radiographs shows peritoneal effusion (liquid in the abdominal cavity).
The high liver values and icteric could be due to not eating. I would go for an ultrasound to look for a mass if you can afford it.

thank you all, I apologize for my absence in past 24 hours .. this was a family members kitty & unfortunately she did not make it. There was a mass, needed transfusion, etc. & they chose not to put her through it.
