carlinsc said:Hmmmm, no real insights, but he's following a pattern of black AMPS numbers every other day. Maybe yesterday was "too" good for him. The big difference I see yesterday, beyond the best numbers he's had, is the duration he got from that AM shot. It usually hasn't lasted as long.
Straight turkey is really low, maybe no, carbs. He shouldn't be getting a boost from that, at least not from the carbs.

carlinsc said:Yeah, I'm with you. He's just "off" for some reason. But take a look at anyone's SS when you have time ('cept for mine since it is blank!) You'll see cycles like this on every one of them, especially near the beginning. Seems like no matter you do, kitties have bad days mixed in with the good ones. It's just frustrating to know know the "why" on a day to day basis.
Bright side, Sev, there's always one there.... You have gathered a ton of data in a really short period of time. You're ahead of the curve on that.

Hope + (((Baby)))GA said:OK, the needle went in but was there insulin in the needle  Where are you shooting....scruff or side?
Hope + (((Baby)))GA said:Many of us shoot along the side, better absorption. Halfway down from the middle of the back, along the flank. Try it for one shot. Just tent up the side.
BJM said:The scruff may have variable absorption. If you need it to go in slower, the scruff is a good location; otherwise, not so much.
carlinsc said:If the AM shot wasn't a fur shot, and the absorption was "off", what if it just absorbed really slowly, and what you are getting tonight is a little overlap? That's a big drop before nadir. I just noticed you put the +5 on the SS and it said 130?
