Good Morning!

Chewy AMPS 360 ---I increased a little to 1.1, I still think he needs more, but I want to go slow. I am thinking he will land between 1.5 and 2 units. His SS is updated!

Kitty AMPS (tid) 285-- shot 3.2.--Go Kitty!

Chewy is doing Great! In the shelter papers, his previous owner said he could not jump. I assumed that was true due to some neuropathy. I let Chewy stay in my bedroom last night.....I woke up at midnight to give Kitty her midshot and he was running around with a catnip mouse in his mouth! :-D

Since he "supposedly" couldn't jump, I put a bed on the floor for him. WELL, this morning, I woke up to a big purring boy laying beside me on the bed!!! So much for not being able to jump--maybe he was just avoiding his owners! Chewy is a GREAT cat--cute personality and purrs constantly! I am trying VERY hard not to fall for him!

Thankfully, we had no snow last night!! The best news about that is ..... my BIG out of town meeting was canceled today, because they did have snow! So, I will be around to get some spot tests on Chewy.

This is a great update. Kitty had a very nice AMPS and I'm glad Chewy is doing well under your caretaking. What a sweet story with him running about with the catnip toy in his mouth and also you waking up next to him. That is so very sweet.

Careful Kim or he may just steal that big heart of yours. :-D
 
How wonderful Kim. Chewy probably thinks he is in heaven. He is. :-D

See Kim, he is fitting right in. He's found a good momma bean & he knows it. How long had he been at the shelter? His "owners" turned him in....so he had a "home" & looked like that? He does think he is in heaven! Poor guy! I can't remember for sure but he just puts you at the same count as me, right? :lol: Do like me and avoid the "How many cats do you have?" question from non cat people. :lol:
 
Aw, thats so nice he was running around playing with a toy, probably hes not felt like doing that for a long time.
He sounds like hes a great cat and is already bonding with you AND hes got an updated ss..WOOT. I think hes making himself at home!
Now since the meeting was cancelled, between tests and shots for all the furkids Kitty's ss probably will be updated ;-) ;-) :mrgreen:
 
Oh kim, those big orange kitties can steal your heart away. Sounds like he is a lover!! How old is he?

How much snow did you get last night? We got 5inches and like winterwonderland this am.

Keep up the good work with Chewy!

Lori--we didn't get any snow, but the Triad area got about 3 inches--that is where my meeting was scheduled. Chewy is about 8 -- I think.
