I have to be informed by the team when I can consider Kitty OTJ.

What is the traditional announcement on the site?

I haven't been following your story.
Are you saying that's it's been days since you've give insulin? If so, great news!!!!

I believe you're officially otj when kitty's gone 2 weeks with no insulin. So, you're very close.

I have read....it's 2 weeks without insulin.

Then you make a OTJ party announcement on the board. Probably in the PZI room.

Sev I am so excited for you & Kitty!

1 shot in 17 days.
12 days since the last shot @ .1 units.
We had a dry food mishap that interrupted the run.
22 days since the last PM shot.

Poopy has his dancing shoes out and ready for the party. He heard me telling DH this morning would be the magic number time. ;-) (Unless I counted wrong - wouldn't be the first time! LOL)

Woot! Woot!

Way to go Kitty and Sev!

dancing_cat Congratulations, Sev.

Next job......go to that first vet and show him what you've done, what you've learned, and hopefully  he'll listen and just maybe change his tude and just maybe he'll take some time to educate himself and just maybe he'll at least send the next client to FDMB and just maybe he won't endanger future diabetic kitties that are unfortunate enough to be taken to him.

You two worked hard for this. Congratulations! I would post on Health also so newmems can look at your spreadsheet and realize that vets might start at too high a dose. They can also see that it takes some experimenting and perseverance to figure this out.

Please also add your amazing story to our remission thread at the top of this page.

Wonderful. party_cat party_cat party_cat

We can't wait to be one of the first to post on your OTJ Party thread.

Let's get that thread started & get the party under way! party_cat

PART~TA!! \M/

I have moved to 1 test a day.

Just a note also.
Kitty tested a 22 on my Relion. Its the lowest he has ever gone. You may guys may want to note that as far as what levels the blood sugar can go down to naturally with no ill effects and as far as whats registered with human testing equipment.
