Good Morning!

Kitty decided to move to the bedroom last night with me! She woke me up twice, smacking her lips and licking the food bowl! :-D She seems to be eating decent, but never a large amount at any one time, she has become a grazer! Due to her crazy numbers yesterday, I had to juggle her shot schedule, but this morning at +10.5 she was 439-- I shot 2.7 in hopes that she will be in decent numbers at +8 and I can resume her "normal" tid schedule. She and Chewy are out on the sunporch this morning stalking the birds. Today, she seems a little more alert, but who knows? Please Keep sending good vibes, thanks.

I took the day off today, to get the remainder of the summer annuals and herbs planted-- So, I will be able to keep a close eye on her. The internalist called last night and encouraged me to bring her back for a recheck, he said they had a couple of additional meds that might would help. So, maybe I will take her back next week---maybe.

I saw a SNAKE in the yard this morning! Non poisonous, BUT!

Wishing Everyone a Great Day from a Hot and Sunny Diabetic Alley.......

Glad to hear she wants to eat and is alert enough to be stalking birds with her brother; enjoy your day off with your babies!

I HATE SNAKES!!

SNAKE?? I'd move.

Good that Ms. Cool Kitty is eating, grazing is ok as long as she eats it eventually.

I can picture Ms. Kitty and Chewy stalking the birds.

Have a great day off.

Kitty has had a decent day. She use to love to share my meals with me, but since she has been sick she rarely has any interest when I eat. Today at lunch, I was sitting in the chair and she came over and wanted my chicken! So, she won.....I ate very little, but she ate quiet a bit of it! I didn't do as well with maintaining her tid schedule....... her mid preshot (+8) was 131....no insulin on that reading! I am letting her ride it out for a couple of hours before retesting--we don't need another schedule! She has been eating a lower carb food the last few days, so maybe that is influencing the lower BGs. I am certain she will be in the 500s if I wait 4 hours (typical bid cycle).

I Hope Everyone is Having a Great Day!

Glad to hear she is interested in food again and it's a good day!

As for the snake. YEA! Snakes are good to have in a garden. The snakes are just keeping the garden cleaned out of mice, moles, shrew's and rats. They are good to have around. The poisionous ones i would put somewhere else only because of the pets and kids.

I let the snake stay! BUT, I hope he/she respects me like I respect him/her and stays out of my way! He was crossing my walkway....... Long Black Snake!

Long black snakes are a good thing! I am not a fan of snakes at all. But I peacefully coexist with them. A poisonous snake gets relocated. The others I let be. Unless they try to touch me! That is when I resort to the garden hose to convince them they prefer a drier environment.
