Good Morning!

Kitty seems to be stabilizing a little! Last night, she insisted on staying on the sunporch overnight--So, I let her. This morning, I got up at 6 am to give her some meds etc..when I opened the door to the porch she came scooting (she doesn't run!) across the floor and meowing-- this use to be a norm for her! She went to the kitchen--hissing at Chewy and Emily to get out of her way-- and put her feet on the cabinet to be lifted to her old eating spot! This is only about the second time in a month that she has done this. I have not given her the appetite stimulant or bupe in 5 days. She still is not healthy, but I am happy to see any positive signs! Her BG was 366 this morning-- that was on a normal 12 hour bid schedule--so, that was much better also. Hopefully, the Acute Ptitis is resolving and we can get back to just fighting the chronic heart and kidney problems.

Chewy is Great! I am going to contact Venita and see what I need to do to Officially adopt him! Want it be a hoot if I get denied in the adoption process?! He is a great cat and seems to fit in wonderfully with my crew. He loves all of them and is very submissive. The last thing I need is another cat, especially a Diabetic Cat! But, he needs a forever home and life is not always about what we need! I know I will take care of him to the best of my ability and I can't imagine sending him to another home.

Please continue to send good vibes to Kitty. I will let you know when I can take DCIN foster off of Chewy's Spreadsheet!

Wishing Everyone a Great Day from a Cloudy and Cool Diabetic Alley.......

KimKim,
Sir Chewy IS home...and knew it before you 'admitted' it.....makes my heart dance!!!! He landed exactly where he was supposed to be.

Good Girl KittyGirl! Keep it up sweet baby....foods will give you back your slim, trim curvy body! Da boyz will be so envious.

Hugs to sweet SallyGirl too. I hope you're doing just as wonderful!

BIG HUGE HUGE HUG to you Kim,

Good for you, Kim! You're doing great on both fronts. I had a feeling Chewy wasn't going anywhere - I believe it's called a "foster failure," and is exactly the reason my husband won't let me foster an Aussie for the local Aussie rescue.

I'm so glad to read Kitty is doing better - I have to check here for an update every morning. Hugs to you all.

IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU MADE HIM OFFICIAL! I knew he was staying from about the third day... glad you finally came around to see the light!

And Kitty - so glad she's over the hump and ready to get back to normalcy. She's a fighter - just like her mama!!! Yeah for her!!!

And Sally - so glad she's been able to settle in and do well on her dose as well. I guess the "healthy" ones sometimes don't get all the press as the ones having trouble - and rightfully so - but glad they ALL are doing so well!

Kudos to you for having such a well-regulated home on "the Alley" in Kittyville!

First off...Way to go Miss Kitty!!
Sheis such a fighter! glad to hear that she is doing so much better!
As for Chewy, I think you were the only one who didnt think he was in his furever home!
Glad to hear it!

That is great news for Kitty!

And I go with the others in that Chewy had already found his furever home- you just didn't know it yet  .
