Good Morning!
Kitty is still eating! She had a quiet day yesterday ---never leaving my bedroom. Today she ate all of her breakfast and she is due her appetite stimulant tonight. This morning I took her outside and we sat on the patio for a few minutes, where she stalked a couple of birds! I attempted to shoot her inslin tid yesterday, as I know that dosing PZI bid does NOT work for her. I shot 3 units into a 500-and at +8 she was 157. So, I did not shoot--- I waited out the cycle and at +12-- she was 588. She still zooms up at the end of the cycle of bid. If TID does not work, starting with a 6am shot-- I cannot juggle the shot schedule. She is getting so many medicines, that the 6am tid schedule works with some of her heart meds--but, I can't wait another 2 hours for her to rise and create another medicine rotation! I already feel like I am an ICU Nurse! She was on the sunporch when I left-- Hopefully, she will have a good day today!
I checked Sir Chewy last night and he was 81. His pancreas seems to be hanging in there with us! I would still love to see him drop down a little more .......BUT, I am not Greedy.
Please continue to send Kitty good vibes--- she is very frail and skinny. Thanks for all of the continued support.
Wishing Everyone a Great Day from Diabetic Alley......
