Good Morning!
Kitty had a pretty good day yesterday. I use to base her good days versus bad days on her BGs, I now base it on Eating! Her BGs were a little high yesterday, but she ate good and the food she is eating is a Gravy Based Food (I know!)--so, the higher BGs were expected. I also have been giving her high carb treats after some of her meds! I NEVER thought I would give her any gravy foods or treats again---so, once again, Never say Never! I did shoot tid yesterday, but her preshots were still red! Hopefully, she will either start back eating her low carb food or at least eat the high carb consistent enough that I can up her insulin dose. RIght now it is all about Eating, Loving, Being Happy and Safe! She has eaten a can of food this morning already!
I am getting ready to Check Sir Chewy after he finishes his breakfast. He use to be very cooperative with the testing--- he now is not really interested in it! It is like he is saying.....Why are you doing this, I am OTJ!!!! I am going to take him to the vet soon in one of my trips---I really think he has some type of respiratory virus or something. Not a Respiratory infection, but something......he sneezes and sniffles A LOT! Knowing my luck, he probably has some Rare one in a million condition!
I apologize to everyone for not posting more on your threads---I have been reading and keeping up with everyone, but I have just be overwhelmed! There is a lot going on in PZI--Cats going OTJ, Cats surfing long cycle, Cats on High Doses....But, everyone is doing a Wonderful Job! Remember, Diabetes is a tough opponent--- Just do the Best You Can, there is no Playbook and our cats are the lucky ones!
Wishing Everyone a Great Day from the Alley.....
