Good Morning from the Alley!

It has been a week since Kitty's crash and we are still here! Kitty seems to be feeling a little better, or maybe I am looking at things differently. This morning she was awake and on the sunporch when I got up-- watching the birds and ready to eat. She still is not eating huge amounts, but she is eating. This morning she tried the Wellness Turkey, which is also much lower in Phosphorus than FF---she liked it! I am also adding Epaktin, a binder, to her food. It is easy-- it is a dry powder and I just mix it with the food. She did not appear as dehydrated this morning as the last few, so hopefully things are improving some. Her AMPS was 257! We are taking it one day at a time-- she gets fluids again in a few hours. While I know her kidneys are not good, I really think she is suffering from a Ptitis flare up also. Please continue to send good vibes-- Thanks!

Still No GREENS! I cannot shoot these numbers, and I realize they are non-diabetic (barely)---So, other than wait him out, what can I do?

Chewy-you are throwing a party aren't you? That would be so cool for PZI to have another remission story & party in a week of each other.

I am not sure if ROBIN will let us have a OTJ party for Chewy if he doesn't go GREEN! WE will have to ask!
 
:lol: Anything under 120 is considered non diabetic. He's not getting any insulin so I'm dusting off the party hats.

Geez don't make me the bad guy or I'll have to PM Sue to come and make everyone update their ss's. :lol:
 
Glad to hear Kitty continues to improve! It seems she just thinks you need to dance on your toes more often!

I've ordered the mousies for the party, to ensure they'll be here on time. You can never have too many mousies!!! Hopefully Libby will get some more of that catnip confetti - Grayson LOVED that - when he wasn't trolling at the buffet, that is! :lol:
 
Glad you found a food Kitty likes (Hershey LOVES the Wellness Turkey, but he also loves their Beef & Chicken, Chicken and Turkey & Salmon, too! Then, again, he'll eat photographs, so maybe we shouldn't go by his taste. ;-) ) It sounds like she's feeling a little better, too, so that's great news! Celebrating every win!!

ROBIN - She didn't mean to make you sound like the bad guy. ;-) But, please, if you have to call Sue in, make sure to tell her that my SS is up-to-date. :-D (Every family has one of those, figured it may as well be me this time. ;-) )

Lu - No mousies for us. We've had to put them up around here. My guys love the little ones; they love to eat off their features! And, lately we've been finding them torn open with their innards missing...well, we later find them 'given back' somewhere else. So, now they can only have them under close supervision. :roll: Will do on the catnip confetti, though!

Yeah, Kim, I miss Sue, too. Would like to see a baby pic or two myself.

Y'all take care. Just realized I have NO idea what I'm fixing for supper, so guess I should get on in. Don't think my family will go for fasting tonight...

Truly a kitty of discerning tastes! :lol:

Jack (dog) used to gut some of the mousies - felt-like ones w/ suede-like tails especially. The batch from the party he's not touched. Maybe he's maturing? Or maybe they just don't have the good guts! Fabric, you know! :o

I am so glad to hear that miss kitty is doing better
and I cant wait to have a party for Chewy
that would be great to have another party!
