I had a minute between testing and shooting, so I thought I would give you a quick Kitty update.
Kitty is doing GREAT! Maybe as well as I have seen in over a year. With her, you never know what tomorrow holds--but, today she is good.
She has settled into TID nicely. I am not overly aggressive in trying to drive her numbers down--but she tests between blues and pinks. The few reds we have seen, I can contribute to different factors. Her weight has finally gotten back to pre diabetic levels. The Ptitis is being controlled and I have not given Bupe in over a month.
Last week her arthritis was really bad--but, that only lasted a day or two. We had a cold front come in and it definitely seemed to effect her arthritis. I will be able to ditch my weather radio and just let Kitty advise me on fronts coming in to our area!
We struggled so much for months, but all of you stuck with us and gave us the motivation to continue to fight for better control of her diabetes. I see so many people come here, just like me--looking quick regulation and the magic wand. It is hard, but through your advice I have learned so much. It takes time, patience and a lot of testing (thanks Saint Sue!) to normally win out. I just want to say "Thanks" to our PZI family. And, I want to encourage all of the new beans---look at our SS--it is hard, but achievable. Never give up!
Thanks Again! You all mean more to Kitty and I than we can say!
