I just talked to Kitty-- she said she was glad I was coming home today. I told her I would be home in time to give her fluids!

She said she was working hard on keeping those numbers down and staying out of the reds!

She said the nurse said her amps was 335! I told her we'd take it!

Can't wait to get home-- hopefully her numbers are settling down (anti jinx)!


Got 3.4 units.

You were so lucky to find a good sitter for her. I bet she enjoyed that much more than time at the vet.

Just as expected-- I get home and up she goes-- pmps 457.

But, I am not going to be alarmed by this, as I gave fluids 45 minutes before testing. Not only do I think the administration of the fluids is stressful--- I also have to feed her some while administering them. So, due to the better numbers lately, I will chalk this up to stress and food.

I shot 3.4 and hopefully in the morning we will be back down.

Sounds like an excellent plan. Kim, have you reread some of your earliest posts? You have come such a long way in a short time - calm, patient, figuring out the dose, giving fluids. Way to go, girl!
