amps 304--- almost Yellow! I shot 3.4.

While this might not be good by some standards, we will take it. I am just holding my breath waiting for the reds to return.

I am a little concerned this morning, Kitty has been a little vocal overnight and this morning. I checked for ketones this morning and they were negative, but I have my eye on the litter box. I hope a UTI is not developing. Hopefully, the vocalness is her reaction to the new surroundings. I will keep my eye on her, and if it continues once we get home, I will take her for a culture. She hasn't been urinating excessively-- but....? It is easier to monitor her here, since the other cats are at home--- At least I know what output is hers.

I would think the fluids would help control UTIs, but maybe not.

Hopefully she is okay and we can go back to concentrating on her bg.

I'm liking your recent PS's coming down. I hope nothing else is brewing but if it is you are already on top of it.

I am not really sure what to make of today.

Last night while Kitty was being so vocal, I noticed her stomach was making rumbling noises. Well today she started having loose stools. By no means was it diarrhea, but it was abnormal. I really think this was stress related from the trip--but obviously, I cannot be certain. She has not acted like she felt well today.

I tested her at +10 and she was 382-- I fed her and did not test at pmps. I knew she was high enough to shoot, and she was asleep.

I checked for ketones twice today-- both were negative.

I will re-evaluate her in the morning and see if a vet trip is in order.

My gut says this is stress-- but who knows.
 
Kitty really didn't seem well last night. I can't really say how she was acting or what was wrong-- she just didn't seem like herself. She was very picky about her food and just wanted to sleep.

The vocalness has ceased.

This morning she seems better. She ate her whole can of food and I haven't seen any additional loose stools. Her amps is the highest it has been since starting the new vial-- 412-- I shot 3.4.

Is this increase-- stress, not feeling well, or just a hard to regulate cat? I have no idea.

She will get fluids today at lunch.

Good news-- negative ketones!

I'm leaving for a five day business trip out of the country Friday-- I sure hope she settles down by then.... Ummmmm.
