Okay, yesterday's pmps was 241. I shot 2 units (csds!)---I knew it was probably low. I was expecting a high number this morning, but her amps was 365. I actually was pleasantly surprised that it was no higher. Maybe it doesn't take much to make me happy!

So, I had no idea what to shoot this morning. Obviously, something is different-the hydration level or insulin. I didn't feel comfortable being overly aggressive with my dose. Yesterday, was such a different day than what we have been seeing.

So, I shot 2.8 this morning. I don't want her to go back up into the reds--but I feel like I am shooting a different cat.

Don't forget ---Kitty has had DKA--but that happened on once a day dosing. But, I don't want to "short" the insulin.

I am out of town in meetings today so, I have someone checking on her.

So, what do you think concerning the dose I gave?

Help!

Just hope it wasn't too much. I think it is okay!

I sure will be glad when this man quits talking and I can head home!

You are such a good dedicated mama bean, and you have someone checking on her---every reason to think she'll be fine. And I am sending vibes to give him a sore throat!

I'm sure Kitty will be fine, especially since you've got someone checking on her. So hard when the practicalities of life get in the way of cuddling our fur babies. Paws crossed for a good day for Kitty.
