King Chuck 1 month update

It's been about 6 weeks since King Chuck underwent cyberknife and it's been a rollercoaster. He was on a steroid since the procedure and last week I was getting worried because his BGs were becoming more uncontrollable despite reducing the steroid dose. Then overnight his numbers were decreasing from 350+ down to the 100s... even while decreasing his Tresiba (Lantus alternative) dose. Over the last 7 days he's gone from 12.5 units to 5. I've been heavily decreasing due to how much lower his numbers have been, even while he's been eating higher carb cat food. I'm going to keep up with his spreadsheet as the numbers come down and will post updates. I'm SO happy we're finally seeing some good results

Thanks for the update. I'll admit I looked at his spreadsheet recently wondering how he was doing. Other than his BG (which is fabulous), how is King Chuck doing?

You probably have some depot helping out the lower dose, but good to see he's now below his pre Cyberknife numbers and in much better numbers too.
