Normally, when Dainty drinks a lot and cries for food almost immediately after eating it would indicate that her glucose levels were alarmingly high. For the last few days she has been doing fine in that regard. Her average 6hrs post shot is 60-120ish. However, despite being in the normal range she's still really restless, drinking way more than usual and wanting more food after eating. Any ideas what's up with her? She's still grooming and I can put down her not moving around much to her arthritis in her back legs but I really can't understand why she is acting like this. Could in be renal failure even with good numbers, or am I looking at something else? She hasn't been vomiting (not even hairballs!) and she is still peeing albeit more than usual because of the excessive drinking. But I don't know, it could be that she just really likes her kitty fountain. nailbite_smile
