Kidney Bloodwork Experts Please

Hi All - I posted awhile back about one of my civvies who got bloodwork and had an elevated BUN value. This time...my diabetic kitty went in for vomiting blood last night. He's had this three times now, almost a year ago to the day. They ran bloodwork and feel his kidneys have elevated values but didn't clarify if he's in kidney failure or is just in early stages, and of course now they are closed for the weekend. Can anyone look at his bloodwork and UA results and let me know your thoughts? Of course they wanted to immediately put him on K/D. I said no due to carb value and I know there are better lower protein food that can work for diabetics. They are all currently on Wellness Complete Chicken pate once daily but after today I'll be increasing it to twice daily. They have Dr. Elseys' Clean Protein down at all times which is very high in protein. Thank you in advance.

I can't help with the blood work but if he's headed into kidney failure, please stop the dry food. The dry has to be rehydrated by the body using water designed to be used in other ways such as by the kidneys to flush toxins and the colon to keep things soft as it moves thru the digestive tract. His kidneys need all the liquid they can get going thru them to help flush toxins.

Dakota's been progressing thru kidney failure for over 3 years now - yes he's at stage 4 nearing the end now but he's also 18 years old.

Thank you very much! I've already picked up the dry food where he normally eats. Admittedly, it's so easy to leave out dry and supplement the wet. Hopefully I can get some folks that are familiar with blood work values to take a look.

The blood and urine work is actually not bad at all. Phosphorus is in the bottom of the normal range, HCT near the high normal range, creatinine is high normal and BUN is only a little over high normal. BUN is very diet dependent and a high protein diet leads to a higher BUN.

Thank you so much @Larry and Kitties. He is actually on a high protein diet, about 62% DMB which is available all the time and then we supplement with wet which is about 30%. So based on his bloodwork, you don't think he's in kidney failure at this point? I called the vet back and asked some follow up questions.
