normal for the ketones strip to turn this light lavender over night? I did one with angel last night and it came back negative but just saw it in the trash can like this....

Edit: I checked last night. I used the spoon trick suggested and got a huge sample. Defiantly waited the amount of time it says and it was clearly negative. I even went back an hour later to make sure.

She seems completely normal and happy. Does this happen with the strips when left out overnight? Praying I can get her to pee again in the next 40 mins

When reading the strip only check at the time as per the instructions. For Ketodiastix you check ketones at 15 seconds...other brands may be different. Any reactions after this time period are not accurate. As Nan said the strips can continue to darken over time, but that is not to worry about. :bighug:

I'm glad the spoon method worked for you. I do that with my guy and always score a sample. ;) Yes, the colour on the strip is time sensitive. After the test window it's meaningless.
